    My ortho put extra wire between my two front teeth to pull them together faster. Well, after one week they were almost closed. Well three weeks later it has not closed anymore...I wonder why that is? It's a bit disappointing. I'm hopeing when he puts the next gage wire in, my two front teeth will close up.Did any of you have a gap that just would not close.

    When I started my braces, I had one front tooth that was almost turned around sideways and NO space. I had a coil on that section for the longest time! My ortho couldn't get brackets on those teeth! When I was able to get brackets, I was so glad as that darn coil was a pain! I've since had a chain put on (not that bad--I chose it in purple) and that was to help push those front teeth a little harder. Hang in there--just when it seems your teeth are moving, they stop. My 12-year old has only had her braces for about 7 months and is already anxious to get them off. She says "they are straight enough". This is my second time in braces, so I'm not rushing it! Plus I need jaw surgery soon
