    I'm 6 days out of a double jaw surgery to correct an open bite and had my top jaw split into 3. I have a splint in the top that has become steadily looser as time has gone on. I'm supposed to have a checkup in a couple days, but I was wondering if this really problematic.

    Called my surgeon, he said it was not a big deal, they all do it.
